As the sun rises in Roswell New mexico today a man is going to attempt the near impossible mission of breaking the speed of sound in freefall.Felix Baumgartner is going to skydive from from 36.5km (120,000feet)above the ground. This is at a level almost twice that which airplanes fly. The risks include low temperatures, thin atmosphere potential and loss of consciousness.
